This song holds a very special memory. It was shortly following the death of Tessa’s Dad that her Mother, Thelma, came to live with us. I had already written several songs for members of my family when she came to me to ask why I had not written one for her. It was tempting to write a “mother-in-law song” (we shared many years and memories) but instead I thought long and hard about what she cherished the most. When I was rehearsing in the family room she would come out, moving to the rhythm of the music (usually with a scotch in hand). She really did so enjoy dancing. So this one is Thelma song - here’s to the memories.

Seamless Ring of Gold (Remix)

This is a song I wrote for my daughter's wedding. The original I performed with a good friend (Des Hylton) at the wedding. This remix features my words and musical arrangement. I have had to use a cloned voice as I am no longer able to sing. The song speaks to how two strangers travel separate paths and eventually find each other in a distant land (Chateau Lake Louise - each taking 'time off' following college). Eventually they discover the strength from being together and make that final commitment

Come What May (Remix)

I wrote this as a 'Coming of Age' song for my son who was embarking on a life adventure. He was headed overseas, leaving home, and starting training that would change his whole life. I originally wrote the words and music in the early 1990's. This is a remix of that song but still holds a precious and proud moment in my life. The words are a metaphor for any child but with special meaning for my son
